Plastic strapping is the ideal choice for all shipments where loads are neither too delicate nor too heavy; the use of the dedicated strapping tools makes tensioning and cutting simple, ensuring effective positioning of the strap. We can identify two different materials for plastic strapping:
- Polypropylene plastic strapping
This is medium-strength strapping, but it offers an excellent level of flexibility that makes it enormously easier to use in the most common situations.
- Polyester plastic strapping
Although it is a plastic material, the PET this strapping is made of boasts strength comparable to that of steel strapping; unlike the latter, however, plastic strapping is also immune to the risk of rust corrosion. In addition, it poses no risk of accidentally cutting the operator, unlike the metal bands of steel strapping.
