What are coil nails

The fundamental difference between coil nails and stick nails lies in the shape in which the series of nails to be loaded into the nailer are arranged. In coil models the magazine is a long spiral of nails arranged in a circle, which allows a much higher loading capacity and therefore fewer interruptions to reload, increasing efficiency and productivity.

The features of coil nails

The spiral arrangement of coil nails is made with metal wire or plastic; coil nails are available in all lengths and diameters, with smooth, ring or screw (helical) shanks.

The industrial applications of coil nails

As mentioned, the feature of coil nails that most drives their purchase is the ability to use them on continuous production lines while having to reload the nailer only occasionally. Among the sectors where this is a particularly sought-after trait, we can mention

  • The assembly of prefabricated structures
  • Industrial packaging
  • Pallet making
